Mind Science Techniques - In Order to Get What You Want, You Must Be Definite With the Infinite

I cannot repeat too often the fact that when you pray and when you visualize, you have to be specific in order to get what you want out of life. You have to be definite with the infinite!

You have to define and declare the good you want before you can get it.

By "the Infinite" we mean the unlimited God-in-you. By means of man, unlimited God can be, do, and have anything.

But it is a person's responsibility to choose and define exactly what the Infinite will be, do and have through him.

The Elevator of Life

A few times, I have caught myself standing in an elevator with the door closed. Then all of a sudden, when it's about time for me to be at the floor that I wanted, I realize that I haven't gone anywhere. I discovered I hadn't gone anywhere because I had not pushed the button. I had not defined and declared where I wanted to go! What a great example I think that is!

You know, some people are the same way in the elevator of life. They are just standing there saying, "Now elevator of life, take me wherever you want to take me." If you just stand there and are not specific, if you do not push the button that you want, then other people's pushing will take you different places. And many times you'll find yourself where you don't want to be!

Some religious people pray this way, "Now Lord, you just take me wherever you want me to go." And then they have the nerve to wonder whey they are not getting anywhere in life.

If you pray like that, you are just like somebody standing in an elevator who doesn't push the button, and you wonder how you got down in the basement. You have to decide where you want to go and push the right button!

If you don't push your own buttons in life, the world will push the buttons for you. You have to define in your own consciousness where you want to go in life. Don't let other people choose for you.

Choose You This Day

There is one thing that the Infinite will not do for the individual. This is very important for you to remember. And let me tell you, you will never hear it in the average church. The Infinite will not choose for the individual.

God is not going to choose for you. The Almighty is not going to choose for you. It is you who must choose. It is you who must define what you are going to be, to do, and to have in life.

You cannot ask the Infinite to choose for you what kind of car you will have. The Infinite is not going to say to you, "Go thou and buy a Cadillac." The Infinite is not going to say to you, "Go thou and buy a house in Beverly Hills." The Infinite has given to you the ability to choose what you want to be, what you want to do, and what you want to have.

The Infinite God says to man, "Choose you this day... "(Joshua 24:15). The Infinite God also says to man, "Command you me," (Isaiah 45:11). God serves man, when man serves God with definite requests.

Decide, Define and Declare the
Good You Desire and the Infinite
Power Will Back You Up.

Once you make a choice and believe it will come about, you will have an instant, constant supply of all that you need to back up your choice. Define what you want to be, what you want to be, and what you want to have, and the Infinite will back you up.

Not only will the Infinite work with you, but the Infinite will work through you to bring about whatever you define and declare.

The Infinite will give you all ideas necessary, and bring you together with all of the right people for every right purpose.

We read in the Scriptures this verse: "He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above, all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
